GENERAL PURPOSE KNIFE " YATAGAN " KNIFE - STAINLESS STEEL
The blade form of the Yatagan originally goes back to the Arab bent swords. At Napoleons' times used as bayonet add-on, it arrived in later times in Germany.
You can use it for cutting herbs or vegetables, for removing tendons, cutting bread or cubing bulbs. The Yatagan has a noble form and it is a very sharp tool.
The blade manufactured from high-quality stainless chrome molybdenum vanadium steel is "blaugepliesstet" by hand. The "Blaupliessten" by hand is in the traditional Solingen sharpening handicraft the finest treatment of the blade surface. Today this technology is controlled by only a handful of the best sharpeners in Solingen. By this treatment the blade gets a fine blue glow.
